The director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Usmonzoda Khayriddin attended the V Central Asian expert forum in Turkmenistan.
The forum was timed to coincide with the 27th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality and the 15th anniversary of the opening of the UN Center for Preventive Diplomacy.
During his speech, Usmonzoda spoke about the global proposals of Tajikistan in the direction of climate change, use of water resources, the issue of ensuring food security and regional security, and mentioned the close cooperation of the international community to solve these challenges.
He especially emphasized the initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in the implementation of these issues.
During his speech, the deputy head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA) Philipp Saprykin supported Usmonzoda’s views and explained the role of the Republic of Tajikistan for effective implementation of these issues at the regional and global level.
